For this edition of our Focus series, we hone in on the interconnected African genres of Afro-House, Afro-Tech, Amapiano, Gqom, and 3-step with three DJs whose sets are as playful and sexy as they are spiritually moving. NYC is represented by GROOVY GROOVY rave man Akanbi, as well as GINJA founder Ethan Tomas, who makes his Nowadays debut. We welcome another debutante in South London DJ and producer and Hyperdub affiliate Fiyahdred, rounding out the lineup with funky UK vibes. /// RSVP is $10 before 11pm and $15 before midnight.
