On top of that, his solo work oozes with a mysterious depth. Across the board, function is able to infuse seismic, warehouse techno with an elegance and striking beauty that stays with you long after the music’s over. KEY Vinyl affiliate Kaiser keeps things taut. He’s an artist of impeccable craft, as seen clearly on his “Konsistenz” EP, which hits that perfect sweet spot between rigorous functionality and immaculate artistry. Kaiser’s reverence for true school techno is matched only by his capacity to breathe new life into it. CSILLA completes the picture. The Infra resident is making her mark with her cultivated productions and fearlessly bold sets. Marie Montexier headlines STUDIO. The Paryìa boss has distinguished herself with a particularly potent sound: restrained and heady, ever edging and anchored with sublime low end. Montexier’s all-vinyl sets are pure distillations of club music’s capacity for transcendence through space. She’s able conjure a whole universe through carefully threaded lines of minimalism, rolling bass and crisp, articulated percussion. Her label curation runs the gamut from thundering experimental club sounds to South American raptor house. As with everything she does, it falls into an intuitive place with ease. The only response is to dance. NY’s gem Mike Servito is one of the realest to ever do it. A mainstay in STUDIO, Servito’s bonafides are unimpeachable. A master of jacking house and a DJ of exceptional power, Servito touches the timeless through the corporeal. Devoye elegant reimagines iconic house and techno through a modern lens. One of the standouts in the US underground, Devoye’s fluid, grooving productions move with nimble precision.
