Milk Bar Community Dinner with Beth Stephens & Annie Sprinkle

While working on a recent project in Poland, Beth Stephens & Annie Sprinkle were taken by eating at a bar mleczny—or milk bar, a holdover from the communist era—where the food was affordable, nourishing, and pleasurable. Coinciding with the closing of their exhibition Bazoombas in Love, Beth & Annie host a bazoomba-themed Milk Bar Community Dinner at The Lab. Join us in imagining a future filled with nourishment and pleasure, in collaboration with Cushion Works and E.A.R.T.H. Lab SF. This free community dinner is prepared by chef Leif Hedendal. The Lab will have a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available for purchase, along with plenty of milk! Support for The Lab’s programming on the compost pile comes from Teiger Foundation.
