Ski Team, Tommy Crane's Dance Music For All Occasions

Ski Team is songwriter and vocalist Lucie Lozinski and her rotating band of heavies from New York's improvised and indie music scenes. For this album release show, she's joined by drummer Jeremy Gustin (Joan as Police Woman, Brian Eno), bassist Michael Isvara “Ish” Montgomery (David Byrne, Pharaoh Sanders, LCD Soundsystem), saxophonist Daniel Pencer (Tōth, Foundling), and special guests to celebrate the release of her independent debut LP Burnout/Boys, produced by Philip Weinrobe (Adrianne Lenker, Billie Marten) and Lucie Lozinski. Tommy Crane is a fixture in both the Montreal and New York creative music scenes. With a background in improvisational music and jazz from the New School, Crane began touring with The Mingus Big Band in 2002, and has collaborated with artists such as Melissa Aldana, David Binney, Joe Chambers, La Force, FYEAR, Aaron Parks’ Little Big, Logan Richardson, Unessential Oils, Half Waif, and Martha Wainwright.
