On January 31, Wakyin returns to New York for a special night at Knockdown Center. The Dominican-Puerto Rican artist has been on a serious run, powered by his breakout track “Fruta Fresca,” which has now surpassed 65 million streams on Spotify and nearly 3 million views on YouTube. Known for high-energy sets that blend reggaeton, house, and Afro-Latin rhythms, Wakyin has brought his sound to major stages across the U.S. and Europe, including EDC Orlando, Under the K Bridge in NYC, Cova Santa Ibiza, and Thuishaven Amsterdam. Joining him on the lineup is Sparrow, the Swiss DJ/producer and one half of Sparrow & Barbossa, whose Afro and Latin house releases have earned over 30 million streams and a #1 Afro House Beatport record. Also on the bill is Ferra Black, an LA-born selector affiliated with LTF Records and Cloonee’s Hellbent roster, bringing a stripped-down, groove-forward style shaped by slots alongside artists like Chris Stussy, The Martinez Brothers, and Solomun.
