On Saturday, October 25th, Signal pays tribute to the roots of techno with a lineup that connects Chicago’s legacy and New York’s underground energy. Mike Dearborn, one of Chicago’s original pioneers, brings his unmistakable sound shaped by decades of work on Warehouse, Muzique, and Djax Up Beats, along with his own imprint Majesty Recordings. His performances channel the essence of the city’s formative years with a timeless, driving precision. Joining him, Lester Fitzpatrick, known as King Les, represents the Southside with pure Chicago grit. With more than 25 years of production behind him and releases on Relief, UKR, and We Call It Hard Records, Lester’s sets merge classic force with a modern, unrelenting edge. From New York, Rocco brings an industrial and experimental touch, weaving punk and jacking American influences into a fierce, boundary-pushing sound. Completing the lineup, Queens-born Juno approaches techno as both rhythm and resistance, drawing from the spirit of Underground Resistance and Drexciya to deliver deep, impactful sets that honor the genre’s roots while shaping its future.
