Honcho: Mystic Bill, maenad, Honcho (Aaron Clark, Clark Price, d'Adhemar)
Honcho returns to Signal for our last Sunday session of 2025, featuring two favorites. The acid house legend, Miami’s Mystic Bill, and one of the freshest talents we’ve had the pleasure to get to know these past few years: maenad. NOTE: We’re pushing the party a little earlier to capture more of the afternoon sun and sunset hours – 1pm-10pm this time, kicking off right as Faggots are Women wraps up.. MYSTIC BILL A member of Chicago’s second wave of house – known for raw, tracky, acid-driven sets. Cutting his teeth in late-’80s/early-’90s Chicago, he played rooms like Shelter, Smarbar and Crobar, holding residencies alongside Ralphie Rosario, Derrick Carter & Mark Farina. He later returned home to Miami to hold residencies at Electric Pickle and Gramps. As a producer and selector, Bill’s imprint runs through pillars like Trax, Relief, Classic Music Company, Strictly Rhythm, Snuff Trax, and Chi-Wax—while also exploring darker EBM/industrial terrain under his Savage Hymn alias on Dark Entries. MAENAD A musician and multimedia artist now based in Brooklyn, but someone we got to know deeply in Pittsburgh. Training originally as a classical singer, she found a home in Pittsburgh’s queer club scene where the strong sense of community and love inspired her to infuse her djing with emotional vocal tracks and warm sentimental sounds. She seeks constantly to share euphoria found only on the dance floor and to uplift and celebrate trans people. If you don’t know maenad yet, it’s time to change that. She is pure joy. SEE YOU ON THE FLOOR.
