SAT NOV 1st The SF Eagle Presents: We Love You, BOO! A Halloween-ish Benefit For Our DISCO DADDY (aka DJ Bus Station John) PLUS Eagle Jeff’s B-Day Bash! Featuring Disco Dancing & Patio Cruising All Night W/ Special Guest DJs Steve Fabus, Jesse Frank, John Fucking Cartwright and Miguelitooo – Hosts: Marc Sanchez and Darwin Bell – Door: Richard Nava – Donations $20+ (No Advance Tix) – 9pm-2am Hey, Nightlife Community! Y’all may have heard by now that DISCO DADDY aka DJ Bus Station John tripped and fell on a raised crack in the sidewalk near 7th & Folsom, shattering his shoulder when he hit the cement—then while laying face down in a state of shock, was robbed of his wallet. He recently underwent surgery to bolt his bones back together, and is now in the painful, lengthy process of recovery and physical therapy to help regain full use of his arm. A fixture in San Francisco nightlife for 25+ years, BSJ’S been our DISCO DADDY here @ The SF Eagle since 2013, throwing legendary parties on Pride, Folsom, Dore and three-day weekends (and collecting a few “Best Nightlife Event” awards from readers of the BAR along the way)! We’d like to show him some love and help him pay his bills ’til he can get back on the decks and us on his dance floor! Come through, dance, cruise, and show off what’s left of yer Halloween costume!
