What we believe
For too long, our events lived in the shadow of mainstream platforms — buried under unclear descriptions, unsearchable categories, and algorithms that didn’t know we existed. We believe every drag brunch, underground rave, wellness circle, comedy night, and community meetup deserves to be discovered, not hidden.
Our culture is different. The things we love are different. The way we gather is different. So why would we settle for platforms that weren’t built with us in mind? We don’t add a rainbow filter to someone else’s product. We built our own from scratch — every feature, every flow, every decision made by people who live this.
Whether you’re at home or traveling across the world, you should be able to open one app and instantly find what’s happening tonight. A rave in Berlin. A networking mixer in LA. A drag show in London. A wellness retreat in Tulum. We’re building the single most powerful tool for LGBTQ+ event discovery — everywhere.
We believe in putting money, energy, and visibility back into the community that made us who we are. This isn’t a corporate promise on a slide deck — it’s in our DNA. From supporting emerging organizers to keeping listings free, everything we do is designed to strengthen the ecosystem, not extract from it.
This isn’t built by people guessing what we need. It’s built by people who’ve been in the crowd, behind the decks, at the door, and in the group chat at midnight asking “where are we going?” We don’t research our users — we are our users. And that changes everything.
We chose purple with intention. It carries the spirit of pride, creativity, and nonconformity that runs through everything we do. It’s the glow behind every screen, the accent on every button, the energy that says: this is ours. Purple is not branding — it’s identity.
Why Gaytherings
On mainstream platforms, our events are afterthoughts. Miscategorized. Unsearchable. Lost in a sea of content that wasn’t made for us. Here, every single event is LGBTQ+ — front and center, easy to find, impossible to miss.
