This queer playwriting circle is designed for queer and trans playwrights in any stage of their career to freely develop work. This is a writing group for queer and trans playwrights! This queer playwriting circle is designed for playwrights in any stage of their career to freely develop work. Explore your craft with other queer and trans playwrights and finally get to hear your work read aloud without the pressure of trying to find actors! Whether you're developing new work, old work, need two weeks to write two pages, or two weeks to write a full act, we're just happy you're at the table! Bring a scene or a set of pages you’d like to workshop. We’ll read the pages aloud, then take time to discuss as a group. The writer can ask questions and receive feedback. We’ll workshop as many pieces as we can in each session. Depending on the size of the group, we may not be able to get to everyone in every session. Come back next time!
