Hummusexual is a hilarious stand-up hour of physical character-driven comedy exploring the unmapped intersection of growing up gay and Iraqi through a whirlwind of immigrant family characters and nakedly personal storytelling. The show asks one piercing question: 'How do you love the people that made you when those people can't love you back?'Yesh Yesh Malik is a gay and Iraqi Assyrian stand-up comedian and writer. He's written for Netflix BuzzFeed and the CBS Diversity Showcase. He performs nationally; at the Hollywood Improv The Stand NYC the Comedy Store New York Comedy Club; and has built a growing fan-base of Hummusexuals and Hummusapiens.
