Part Two of the Spanish Wine Series for Cheers & Queers! An evening of wine tasting and networking featuring white wines of Spain. Bienvenido to the Spanish Wine Series! In continuation of exploring a different wine-producing country every year, Cheers & Queers - Houston offers a special, four-part experience as we delve into the vibrant world of Spanish wines. In the previous wine series, we explored specific wine regions of a given country each month, spanning four months. For the Spanish Wine Series, we will instead explore a different style of Spanish wine each month. ALSO, in addition to the wine tasting, the Spanish Wine Series will feature full dinner-pairing experiences! ------------------------------------------------------------- For this tasting, we will learn about and taste the vibrant white wines of Spain! Did someone say, "Albariño?" And also, "Seafood Paella?!" We will taste six wines total, featuring not only the well-known Albariño of Rías Baixas, but also Garnacha blanca, and there may be one or two Txakoli wines that will make an appearance. The dinner pairing will include family-style seafood paella prepared by Alejandro and his team! The cost will be $50 per person, before taxes and fees, for the entire wine & food pairing experience. This will be an educational tasting as well as a full dinner for each guest, so come hungry! Please indicate when buying your ticket if you have any food allergies or restrictions. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Free parking is available at the venue, yet very limited; therefore, rideshare is highly recommended.
