Fremont’s little pastel bar/diner has its own set of pastel queens to match. The Dream Girls vary but are usually some combination of Arietty, Betty Wetter, and Irene DuBois, along with at least one special guest. This show is unique for a few reasons: It’s on Saturday mornings instead of the traditional Sundays, it’s held on the covered/heated patio, and it’s happening in what the venue itself correctly describes as a Gucci Waffle House. (Order the creamy-coconutty Monte Cristo; it’s a whole hell of a thing.)
