Folsom & Leo Herrera kick off Folsom Street Fair with the steamiest book launch ever. Talk, book signing and cruising afterparty. Folsom Street Fair and Leo Herrera team up for (analog) Cruising: Folsom Edition, the launch of a limited edition of Leo’s viral cruising manual. The book launch will include a talk, book signing and a very sexy afterparty (TRUCK). The original manual is a viral sensation, selling thousands of copies worldwide and recognized by The New Yorker, Dan Savage, Sniffies, the New York Department of Health and California State University. The Folsom Edition was made especially for Folsom, with a new cover and a new chapter on Folsom and the history of SoMa. A collector’s item for the 2026 fair. “Folsom was one of my first cruising loves. The new Folsom chapter traces the history of SoMa and pays homage to the psychedelic, experimental Beat poetry of San Francisco.” Leo Herrera will read from the new edition and lead a chat about sex and San Francisco, followed by a book signing and the cruising dance party TRUCK. Wednesday, September 23 at The Stud Doors + Book Pickup: 7-8pm Book Reading & Chat: 8-9pm Afterparty at TRUCK (same venue): 9:30pm–2am FREE RSVP: Admission to the book launch and talk. RSVP + BOOK + TRUCK: Reserve a signed copy of the Folsom Edition and complimentary admission to TRUCK. Cash or Card at venue. ABOUT TRUCK: TRUCK is featured in the finale of the original (analog) Cruising and they’ve graciously included complimentary admission with every book purchased at the launch. TRUCK starts immediately after the book signing at the Stud. Mature audiences only.
