ARE U LISTENING? is a curated listening series by Trance Records, creating space for musicians, music lovers, and tastemakers to experience music as a communal act – inviting audiences into the creative process and reshaping listening culture around presence, intention, and exchange. For the second ARE U LISTENING? session, we are introducing multi-instrumentalist and producer tahjii’s forthcoming single ‘leaving a mark’ along with an exclusive preview of his second EP ‘DEMO’. The project explores ideas around permanence and impermanence — what stays with us throughout time, the imprint a person or moment can leave on the mind and body, and the renewal that comes with intentional solitude and introspection. The single will release as a living moment experienced collectively, contextualized through dialogue, and opened up to real-time reflection — positioning the audience not just as listeners, but as participants in the unfolding of the work.
