This long-weekend edition of Ritual begins in The Nursery and expands into The Sound Room at 6 PM. Re-entry is permitted until 10 PM. PR residents Lovie and Jenifa Mayanja kick things off outdoors. One half of Soul Connection and the name behind summer school radio, Lovie imbues Black femme empowerment into intergenerational sets that span house, R&B, disco, and dusty funk. Jenifa Mayanja is a long-time proponent of all things deep, centering reverence and preservation of the culture over mass exposure.
