Rainbow Exhale: A Queer & Trans Sound Journey There is something powerful about being able to exhale in a space where you know you are welcome. Rainbow Exhale is a queer and trans-centered sound journey created for LGBTQIA+ community members and allies. The experience begins with a guided EFT meditation, followed by progressive muscle relaxation to help release tension and settle into the present moment. From there, the session opens into a carefully composed sound bath using crystal singing bowls and other gentle acoustic instruments. Each sound and instrument is chosen intentionally, with the session unfolding through a progression of tones, textures, rhythms, and silence. The experience offers space for deep rest, reflection, and restoration, with time to slow down, listen, and notice what arises. No experience with EFT, meditation, or sound healing is necessary. Whether you're deeply familiar with these practices or trying them for the first time, you're invited to get comfortable and let yourself be guided through the experience. Led by Charlie Sebastian Short, a queer, BIPOC, and neurodivergent sound healing practitioner and professional musician, Rainbow Exhale is a trauma-aware space created with LGBTQIA+ community members in mind. Allies are warmly welcome. While many items are available to borrow, feel free to bring any comfort items, such as a favorite pillow, squishmallow, eye mask, or anything else that helps you get comfortable... then give yourself some room to breathe. This is a pay-what-you-can (PWYC)/sliding scale event.
