As a celebration of the 30-Year anniversary of 16 Volt's "Let Down Crush" and Acumen's "Territory = Universe" these Cold Wave icons will be performing special album-focused sets in a rare return to the Bay Area. 16volt's founder, songwriter, lead vocalist, programmer, and rhythm guitarist, Eric Powell, signed his first record deal in 1991 at a very young age and subsequently released three albums: including the legendary LetDownCrush in 1996, to widespread acclaim and notoriety. With its roots originally planted firmly in the industrial rock genre, 16 Volt have remained a mainstay enjoying a worldwide underground fanbase and successfully crossing over into genres for decades. Acumen Nation is an American industrial rock and coldwave band formed in Chicago in 1988. Known for blending heavy metal guitars with pulsating electronic beats, they were founded by brothers Jason and Ethan Novak. They are widely recognized as stalwarts of the Midwest underground industrial scene.
