A celebration of RVA Pride. Come see this wonderful, inclusive film at Buskey Cider on September 10th! RVA Brewvies is a celebration of two beloved industries in Richmond: art and craft beverages. The entirety of ticket sales goes to the filmmaking team and the hosting business. But film and beverages are not the only things we celebrate on Thursday, September 10th. Two days before RVA Pride, Brewvies is spotlighting films that celebrate the LGBTQIA community. Brewvies will screen, for the first time Buskey Cider, the Richmond-produced Dear Luke, Love, Me: Spanning over a decade, soulmates Penny and Luke struggle to maintain their queer-platonic significant-other relationship while dealing with societal pressures to find something "normal." Dear Luke, Love, Me will be accompanied by two fantastic short films, both of which shine a light on LGBTQIA characters: Remnants of Nova and Common as Red Hair. We are thrilled to screen these powerful films on September 10th. See You At The Brewvies!
