A memorial dance party and fundraising event for our lesbian and queer community, honoring 2 beloved icons of our generation: Dolly Parton and Tim Curry. Put on your rhinestones, grab your glitter, step into those cowboy boots, and get ready to celebrate two beloved queer icons: Dolly Parton and Tim Curry! Join us on Thursday, September 10th, from 7:30 PM–1 AM at Los Globos (on the second floor) for a joyful, glorious night of dancing, drag, costumes, and community, all while raising money for causes close to our hearts. We’ll kick things off with line dancing from 7:30pm to 9pm to Dolly Parton and country favorites! New to line dancing? No problem! We'll run lessons at 7:30pm and 8:30pm. Then, at 9pm get ready for a full-out dance party featuring music by Dolly Parton, Rocky Horror, and other unforgettable country and musical theater hits with DJ Triple Earth! Come dressed in your favorite sparkled up Dolly look, or your best Tim Curry/ Rocky Horror inspired character! Prizes may be awarded to best dressed! This is a night about community, kindness, creativity, love, joy, and giving back. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and Broadway Cares | Equity Fights AIDS, supporting literacy and LGBTQ+ health and community care. Whether you’re a lifelong Dolly devotee, a Rocky Horror cult follower, a musical theater nerd, a country music lover, or simply someone who believes in dancing your heart out for a good cause, we want you there.
