Velvet Rising is a monthly queer open mic at Lookout, produced and hosted by Matthew McCoy. Fresh comics, queer voices, and the particular joy of a small room that's fully on your side. Candlelight energy, a disco ball on the mic, and drinks that go down easy. This is a space built for queer comics and queer audiences first. Come watch, come support, or come get up and try something new.
