A monthly casual, queer-only speed dating event at one of my favorite Chicago bars! Meet other queer folks in a space that’s easy, fun, and designed for connection without the pressure. Here’s how it works: you’ll rotate through a series of short conversations (about 5 minutes each). Afterward, you write down who you’d like to connect with – as a friend, flirty new crush, or just someone to watch the WNBA game with at Babes. Matches are emailed the next day. Hot Potato Hearts celebrates all identities and orientations. This event is specifically for our queer community — a chance to meet other cutie Chicago queers in a setting that feels low-stakes, supportive, and affirming. Who’s to say if you’ll leave with a crush, brunch buddy, or just a night of good conversations. No matter what, our Queer Speed Dating event is about building connections that last. If there is not enough room for speed dating inside, there will be a singles mixer instead of formal speed dating.
