HiNDE makes its way to Brooklyn as Nitefreak brings the Zimbabwean event series to 99 Scott, joined by DJ Tomer and Samantha. The New York edition marks another international chapter for a project that began in Bulawayo and has since traveled well beyond its original home. Nitefreak founded HiNDE in 2021 at a time when limited bookings and opportunities were making it increasingly difficult for artists in Zimbabwe to find platforms. The series created a space for local DJs and producers working across Afro House and Afro Tech, building its earliest events around the music and community developing in Bulawayo. From there, HiNDE expanded to Harare, including a 2024 event at Queen of Hearts, before reaching audiences outside Zimbabwe.
