Our 4th Annual National Coming Out Day Celebration is back at The Black Cat, and this year we're launching something big. BabyGay, The Black Cat and Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martínez (CD13) are debuting the Welcome-Wagon: a care package for someone coming out, packed with affirmation, resources, handwritten SupportCards from community members who've been there, and a year of monthly support groups through Open Space Therapy Collective. We're building 100 of them in one afternoon, and we can't do it without you. Grab a volunteer shift and help send someone a box that says they're not alone. VOLUNTEER SHIFTS Shift 1: 1–3 PM (orientation at 12:30 PM) Shift 2: 3–5 PM (orientation at 2:30 PM) Clean-up crew: 4–6 PM (orientation at 3:30 PM) Roles include setup, the assembly line, the SupportCard station, greeters and partner tables. No experience needed, just good energy.
