About

NYC's home for language comedy explores MAGIC! Vocabaret: Magic Why double your toil and trouble when you can join us at the next Vocabaret? We'll explore words of magic (and the magic of words) with Vocabaret regulars and special guests. It will be a night of games, chants, deep dives, incantations, fascinations and enchantment! hosted by Ally Spier with Nikolai Vanyo, Jerzy Gwiazdowski and special guests! Do you marvel at morphemes? Are you scintillated by syntax? Then you belong at Vocabaret, where we make language fun while making fun of language. Each month we explore a new theme — from Phobias to Butts — in segments with titles like “Back That A-Z Up,” “Glossed in Translation” and “Will You Accept This Prose?” Dads love us—and you will too (whether you're a kiki or a bouba).
