Join us for an evening of networking, community, and conversation as we celebrate the launch of this new annual event series. San Diego City College's Career Center and Pride Hub are proud to host the Inaugural LGBTQIA+ Educators Event, the newest addition to the college's affinity event series, joining past events honoring Latinx, Black, and AAPI educators and communities. This event brings together LGBTQIA+ educators, staff, faculty, and allies from across the district and broader community for an evening of connection and dialogue. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with colleagues, hear from a panel of community and higher education leaders, and celebrate the launch of what we hope will become an annual tradition. The evening will feature: Networking: casual mingling in a cocktail-style setting Panel discussion: voices from both the community and higher ed leaders sharing insight and experience Opening remarks: from college leadership As the inaugural event in this series, it marks an important step in building visibility and community for LGBTQIA+ educators in San Diego.
