Across time and cultures, oral storytelling has been an essential part of creating and fostering community. Sharing this tradition by reading aloud as adults, and by gathering to hear others read, can help us calm our nervous systems, hear stories differently, build connections with others, and feel uplifted and supported in a very difficult world. Join ASATT Community Initiative volunteer Abby Moreno for a peaceful and connective evening. As you listen to her read, you can sip hot or iced tea and use our provided supplies to color or bring your own crafts or silent fidgets.
