It’s Halloqueen! Let’s have a pickleball party! PRIDE AFTER DARK: MONSTER BALL FOR HALLOQUEEN Wednesday, October 28 | 5–9 PM Sign up here! We’re excited to collaborate with Seattle Pride on another fun event at The Palms! Join us for a night of pickleball, Halloween fun: costumes, a photo booth, DJ Mixx America spinning tunes and a spooktastic celebration of community! Get creative – there’s going to be a Costume Runway (keep reading)! COSTUME CONTEST Whether it’s punny, funny or your finest silks, come finessed and flawless and strut your stuff on the runway! The costume runway will take place at 6:30 PM in the first-floor corridor. NEW TO PICKLEBALL? Never held a paddle? Looking for more support before playing? We’ll have welcoming beginner instruction, loaner paddles and helpers available to get you comfortable before joining the fun. PICKLEBALL Open play will be organized into level-based areas, with beginner, intermediate and advanced options. Each area will use a four-on, four-off rotation, with helpers available to keep play moving. Rotation instructions will also be displayed on our screens. MUSIC, DRINKS AND SOCIALIZING DJ Mixx America will join us later in the evening, with the bar and music located in the second-floor viewing loft. Light snacks will be provided. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase from Mainstay Provisions. Card and tap-to-pay only. WHAT TO BRING Bring non-marking court shoes, a paddle if you have one, your best costume, plenty of good vibes and a positive attitude—it’s just pickleball! THIS EVENT Don’t dawdle! We sold out our last Pride event! This event is geared towards the LGBTQ+ communities and though this event is open to allies, please consider purchasing tickets day of to ensure we have space.
