Active since the late 1980s, Rother established himself internationally with Sex With The Machines and Simulationszeitalter, developing an unmistakable electro language around machine rhythms, vocoders and technology. His extensive catalogue includes his Psi49Net and Datapunk labels alongside collaborations with Karl Bartos, Sven Väth and DJ Hell.
