About

MixedArts & cultureCommunityNetworking

Discover the history and magic of the Castro District through the eyes of an LGBTQ+ activist and sixth-generation San Francisco Native. The Castro District in San Francisco is known for its rich LGBTQ+ history and vibrant culture. It was where Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official in North America, lived and owned a camera shop. It is also home to many national landmarks, like one of the last historic movie palaces from the 1920's, The Castro Theater, and the original rainbow flag inside of the GLBT Historical Museum. If you are booking this tour on the same day, contact the operator at (415)483-2480 or eric@ericcurryco.com to make sure that the tour will run.
