Join us on the second Sunday of each month to meditate and relate in a welcoming space, with readings, contemplations, and discussion. Queer Dharma Meditation Group is an open community of meditation practitioners led by and for LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex) individuals and their friends. Basic meditation instruction is offered as well as short readings, contemplations and group discussion. On occasion, guest teachers will offer talks about how the practice of meditation can help us within the context of our identities as gays, lesbians, bisexuals, trans, intersex, questioning, and gender queer individuals, and how we can incorporate practice into our everyday lives and personal experiences. Some people might like to continue to socialize over dinner and/or drinks afterwards. See you there! Join us for light refreshments, socializing and meditation practice. Meditation instruction is available. Shambhala Center of Los Angeles 4200 West Burbank Blvd. All are welcome regardless of experience, spiritual tradition, age, gender, sexual identity or finances.
