CAST PARTY - a live sitcom for former theater kids & present day main characters. Remember when you were the brightest star of your small town? You just wrapped 3 generously attended performances of Godspell (but set in modern day New York City), and on closing night the entire Drama Club snuck a handle of vodka down to Kyle's mom's basement. It was the craziest event of the year, filled with exhaustion, hormones, anxiety, laughter, joy, singing, rage, tears, so much screaming and the wafting smell of expired stage make up. Your days in drama club may be over, but your meltdown about the cast list? Eternal. Cast Party, the brain child of Jamie Shriner (The Onion, Comedy Dynamics) & Danii Gallegos (We Still Like You), is a comedy show aiming to be the embodiment of the emotional rollercoaster that is High School Theater. Electric original songs, immersive dance rehearsals, and diva meltdowns interlude a lineup of ONLY (self described) main characters. Each show revolves around characters written and performed by Jamie Shriner and Danii Gallegos. November's show features a character from Tyler Jackson, as well as stand up by Carly Ballerini and Brendan Scannell, with musical accompaniment by Greg Hoffman Kyle's mom said no more massage trains.
