Nicknamed the “Effect Master” for a reason, Shimza’s sets have moved crowds across the world—from Ultra South Africa and SXM Festival to Paradise Ibiza, Privilege, and his now-iconic Cercle performance at the Citadelle de Sisteron in France. He’s also a cultural force offstage. Through Kunye Records, Shimza provides a platform for African electronic talent, and his One Man Show continues to blend community impact with world-class music. Last time Shimza played New York, it was under the K Bridge for a massive open-air party that ended with a surprise B2B alongside Black Coffee—a moment that still echoes in the city’s underground.
