Follow a radicalizing gay liberation movement as “street queens,” hustlers, and Christian ministers form an unlikely partnership and establish the first Pride march. This tour includes a free round at the Cinch Saloon (the last gay bar on Polk St.) in the spirit of community building in queer spaces. This tour length is about 2 hours and starts at the Tenderloin Museum (398 Eddy St). Join us for an afternoon of vivid history and community storytelling led by one of SF’s most compelling queer history projects.
